HAS AYIOS CHANGED?
Yes. After many years, Áyios has been reimagined. I wanted to retell its story, drawing inspiration from the beeswax candles lit in old churches. The new blend captures that golden glow of honey, wrapped in the warmth of aged wood grain, polished over centuries.
ARE SAINT GEORGE PRODUCTS CRUELTY-FREE AND VEGAN ?
Yes, all our products are cruelty-free and vegan. We believe in ethical practices and do not test on animals.
ARE YOUR FRAGRANCES NATURAL?
While our fragrances are not entirely composed of natural ingredients, we prioritise using sustainably sourced essences (a mix of natural and synthetic) by working with fragrance houses who provide sustainable and responsible ingredients. With this, all of our fragrances adhere strictly to IFRA standards, ensuring they are exceptionally safe for use.
WHERE ARE YOUR FRAGRANCES MADE?
All our fragrant oils are meticulously crafted in Australia, combining both Australian and globally sourced ingredients.
ARE SAINT GEORGE FRAGRANCES SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES?
While our fragrant Oils are generally well-tolerated by many people and skin types, individuals with sensitive skin or allergies should burn candles in well ventilated spaces.
WHAT LONGEVITY DO I GET FROM SAINT GEORGE PRODUCTS?
Candles
• 200g candle → up to 30 hours of burn time
• 400g candle → up to 60 hours of burn time
Diffusers
• 300ml diffuser → lasts around 4–6 weeks, depending on how often you flip the reeds
• 1L diffuser → lasts around 4–6 months. Keep diffusers away from heavy drafts and warm environments to maximise your fragrance life.
WHAT WAX ARE SAINT GEORGE CANDLES MADE FROM?
Saint George candles are crafted from a high-grade blend of soy and paraffin wax. The majority of the blend is natural soy wax, with a balanced amount premium paraffin to allow maximum fragrance throw.
CAN I RECYCLE OR REUSE SAINT GEORGE CANLE VESSELS?
Absolutely! Our candle vessels are designed to be reusable. After enjoying your candle, you can clean out any remaining wax and repurpose the vessel for various purposes, such as holding a pot plant, flowers, makeup brushes, or small trinkets.
HOW SHOULD I CARE OR MY SAINT GEORGE CANDLES TO ENSUREOPTIMAL PERFORMANCE?
To maximise your candle's lifespan, always trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (approximately 1/2cm) before lighting, and allow the candle to burn until the wax pool reaches the edges of the vessel during each use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn. Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests.To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than four hours at a time. Discontinue the candle when 1/2 inch (1cm) of wax remains for your safety. Clean it out, repurpose the vessel and order your next SAINT GEORGE Candle.
